ChainBreak is a self-managed writing project that I had been working on for years, with the hope of it becoming a fully serialized webcomic. And as we all know, every book needs a special cover! so, I went forward to create hypothetical covers that could represent the first volume of this project.

Out With The Old & In With The New
Re-designing an older book cover design
Starting out, I was going to keep the original book cover design I had for the novel I was writing. However, I wanted to improve the old design, and update it to have less muddy colors and blurred linework; instead creating something that was easier for the viewer to more easily focus on.

Finalizing The New Cover
After about two weeks of finalizing the book cover, and a few rounds of editing,
I finally found a design that embodied the aesthetic I was looking to represent my project.
