SHANTI SPARROW ART EXHIBITION
Come one! Come All! It's Time To Start The Show!
Picture this: you're wandering the streets, taking in the scenery until something catches your eye. Your gaze lands on a motion design poster that utterly enthralls you, pulling you into a world unlike any other. This was the driving concept for my project — to design an animated poster specifically for a hypothetical Shanti Sparrow exhibition, aiming to capture the essence of her work and act as a vivid, living invitation that reflects her unique style and imaginative narratives.

Understanding Shanti Sparrow & Her Designs
Observation & Design Breakdown
Before diving into my project, I had to really get an understanding as to who the designer was that I was hypothetically designing for. This included their design work and what made their work intriguing. This lead me to analyze some samples of work, breaking down that information into notes and an observational board.

Preliminary Sketches & Layout
Once I collected a deeper understanding and compiled my many many observation notes, I began to design, starting out with a basic typeface before slowly constructing my layout and steadily adding color to help create a sense of hierarchy.

Initial Sketch | General Layout, 2 colors for suggesting hierarchy

2nd Sketch | introduced 3 colors ( white, black, gradient) to create a more focused emphasis on information
The Final Design Solution
Following the two iterations, I refined my design using key insights and feedback. My final solution features a stark black background with white text, accented by blue and pink elements. These colors are strategically used to grab the attention of the viewer and direct their gaze in a zig-zag motion, which reflects the poster's overarching layout.
