Research & Inspiration
Metaphors and a Simple Color Palette
My ideation process began with a mood board that distilled the long-term, simplified design I envisioned. By employing simple colors, metaphorical imagery, and flat designs with subtle texture, I aimed to evoke a sense of "Other-worldliness"—a feeling often associated with phobias and deep, complex fears. This minimalist approach allowed me to convey the unsettling essence of these emotions without relying on overt or graphic imagery.

Inital Sketches
My initial sketches featured thin line work that I later developed into more detailed pieces. Each drawing focused on representing a specific phobia from the given text in a creative and unique way. When viewers engaged with the page, I wanted them to experience a sense of "guess the phobia," especially since many of these fears aren't commonly discussed.
